PRESS RELEASE - DubClubY2K Special Part 4

Solomonic Roots of InI Oneness

Iration Steppas Sound System

Saturday, 2 December 2000, Paradiso Amsterdam

For the fourth mighty chapter of the increasingly popular DubClubY2K Special, King Shiloh & Paradiso proudly present two sizzling acts from the Leeds School of Dub Excellence. Saturday night Roots & Culture fever in the Paradiso featuring the all-conquering Iration Steppas Sound System plus the uplifting Solomonic Roots of InI Oneness.

For the first time in Europe with their own turbo-charged sound system, the mighty Iration Steppas featuring Mark Iration at the controls, plus Dennis Rootical, Roebles & the Leeds/London Warrior Massive. Generally accepted as the Crowned Champions of Heavyweight Steppas (dub music that makes you step and dance) this highly-charged formation come to take the crowd by storm with their own unique brand of year 3000 dub-plate exclusives. Better known internationally in their live guise of Kitachi, the Steppas fulfill a life-time ambition of bringing their first love - the sound system - to Amsterdam. Feel the music, feel the vibes, UK dubstyle.

As a warm-up to the Steppas, hailing also from Leeds, the meditative andinspirational sounds of InI Oneness, the Solomonic Roots. Also proving to be one of the hottest UK live acts around (in combination with the UK Players), for this show transformed in sound system mode under the banner Solomonic Roots Sound System and featuring top UK recording artists I-Natural and Ras Iyah alongside MC Sammy Dread. Building a solid Roots foundation.

Like the first three exciting editions, Chapter Four is all about the fat basslines booming out of oversize speakers, the MC's riding red hot riddim, the ear-pearcing sirens and the all-encompassing positive vibrations. It’s about people dancing to tribal warrior beats, loosing themselves in spiritual ecstacy. It's about sound system, the realthing!
